Catalyst Montana Lobby Day
Catalyst Montana's lobby day is an event where attendees can gain hands-on experience in sharing their lived experience and vision with legislators in the Montana State Capitol building in Helena!
Here's what you can expect:
10am - Our in person lobby day training begins - this is where we'll give tips and tricks about how to lobby effectively and information on Catalyst Montana's priority issues
11am - Head to the Capitol and join your lobby day group to connect with legislators in the building
12pm - Attend the Defend the Montana Supreme Court Rally
1pm - Debrief your experience and grab lunch with the Catalyst MT team
No experience is necessary - our team will provide training, lunch and moral support throughout the experience! We're extra excited to be hosting this lobby day in tandem with the Defend the MT Supreme Court rally happening the same day on the flag plaza at the Capitol!
Defend the Montana Supreme Court Rally
Join Montanans from across the state at the Montana State Capitol flag plaza in Helena to DEFEND the Montana Supreme Court in Helena, MT on Friday, April 18th at 12pm
For decades, Montanans have elected our State Supreme Court Justices in non-partisan elections. This ensures that the Montana Supreme Court is independent from the partisan political pressure of the Executive and Legislative branches. Today, some politicians in the legislature are trying to play politics with the State Supreme Court – but we won't let that happen!

Transgender Day of Visibility Rally
Join Catalyst Montana and the Free and Fair Coalition at the Montana State Capitol flag plaza for Trans Day of Visibility — a powerful gathering celebrating trans joy, resilience, and community.
This year’s focus: visibility around trans people fighting back against legislative attempts to erase us. In the 2025 legislative session alone, we’ve seen over 20 bills aimed at attacking our access to gender-affirming care, removing essential social services and stripping away our rights. But we are here, we are strong, and we will not be silenced.
The event will feature a variety of speakers and activities for folks to get involved, build solidarity, and make our voices heard!

2025 Policy Leadership Institute
The 2025 Policy Leadership Institute, (PLI), or formerly known as WPLI, is a multi-day training and community building event for anyone interested in realizing a future where there is justice, safety, and dignity for all. PLI is held annually and builds the skill and community necessary to create meaningful change in our lives as low-income and marginalized Montanans.
Full and partial scholarships including food and lodging are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so don't delay. We'll help arrange carpools for folks needing a ride to Helena, and child care will be available. Please make sure to complete the entire registration form!
Montana Constitution Rally
Join the Montana Conservation Voters and others from across the state to celebrate and protect the core values that uphold our democracy.

This event will feature powerful speeches, insightful discussions, and a chance to connect with others who care deeply about preserving our constitutional rights. It’s a time to stand together and show our shared commitment to a fair and just system for all Montanans.
The Montana Legislature is considering bills that would undermine the rights guaranteed by the Montana Constitution, including SB 42, which would force judges to identify with a political party when running for office. Since our state’s Constitution was first written, Montanans have relied on our courts to protect their rights and freedoms. Introducing political parties into the courtroom would undermine our fair and impartial judiciary.
Please join us in standing up for freedom, fairness, and the rule of law. Your presence matters — together, we can send a powerful message about the importance of defending our Constitution.

Rally for Montana Medicaid
Over 80,000 Montanans are enrolled in Montana’s current adult Medicaid program.
In 2025, Montana legislators will need to vote in favor of continuing the program to
ensure that those 80,000 Montanans don’t lose their healthcare.
